Jay & Silent Bob Reboot Clip is a Perfect Batman V Superman Parody 15 Sep, 2019 Jason Mewes made an appearance at the 2019 Saturn Awards to debut a new sneak peek at Jay & Silent Bob Reboot. Mewes debuted as one-half of the titular duo in 1994's ultra-low-budget comedy, Clerks. He later reprised the role in such other cult classics as Chasing Amy, Dogma, and Mallrats. The less vocal of the two is played by Kevin Smith. Smith also served as the writer and director of each aforementioned installment. They would later headline their own movie, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, in 2001 before returning to cameos for Clerks 2. In the years since, Smith has further cultivated his already-passionate following with various podcasts and stand-up specials, while simultaneously producing passion projects like Tusk and Yoga Hosers. He also made the move to television, directing episodes of both The Flash and Supergirl. Following a near-fatal heart attack, however, the popular writer/...

The Batman Fan Trailer Envisions Ben Affleck's Lost DCEU Movie 15 Sep, 2019

The Batman Fan Trailer Envisions Ben Affleck's Lost DCEU Movie 15 Sep, 2019 While Ben Affleck may be out of the Batman role, that hasn't stopped a fan from creating a trailer for his DCEU solo movie that could've been. As has happened with many superhero and villain castings over the years, the announcement that Affleck would be donning the cape and cowl for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice was met with much derision from fans, only to see many of those same fans be converted after seeing the actor onscreen. While Affleck's three appearances as Batman - in BVS, a cameo in Suicide Squad, and Justice League - were hampered by the decidedly mixed reaction to all three of those films, many DC devotees still came away with the belief that Affleck was the right man for the role, and just needed a better script to be part of. It looked like he might finally get that in his planned Batman solo film, which he was originally set to star in, write, and direct. Needless to s...

Iron Man Reportedly Returning To MCU For Black Widow Movie 15 Sep, 2019 A new report suggests Robert Downey Jr. is returning as Tony Stark/Iron Man for Black Widow. The first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 4, Black Widow is actually set after the events of Captain America: Civil War but before Avengers: Infinity War, making it a prequel rather than a continuation of the post-Endgame story. Starring Scarlett Johansson in the title role, Black Widow will also include David Harbour suiting up at Russia's version of Captain America, Red Guardian, as well as Rachel Weisz and Florence Pugh as other Black Widow agents. The main villain of the film is Taskmaster, a character who is a formidable foe thanks to his "photogenic reflexes" that allow him to quickly observe and copy any person's fighting style. Up until now, there had been little to no mention of what allies Natasha Romanoff may have in the film, but according to one report, Black Widow may se...

Supernatural Final Season Trailer: Welcome To The End 14 Sep, 2019 The end is truly nigh in the first official trailer for Supernatural season 15. The show first debuted on The WB back in 2005. Despite never being a huge winner in the ratings, Supernatural cultivated a passionate following that saw it survive the network's transition into The CW. That fan following only grew with each passing season, affording the show consistent renewals and its place as one of The CW's staple offerings amid its ever-expanding comic book universe. Earlier this year, however, it was announced that the 15th season would also be the last. Starring Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, Supernatural tells the story of Sam and Dean Winchester. As per the family business, the two brothers traverse America, saving people and hunting things. Over the years, they have faced everything from wendigo and vampires to demons and rogue angels. Their unconventional family has fluctuated over the years, with o...

Michael Keaton’s 1989 Batman Suit Is For Sale 14 Sep, 2019 Michael Keaton’s 1989 Batman suit is for sale. Given the storied history of DC’s Batman, it isn’t hard to think back on the wide variety of actors who have portrayed the legendary caped crusader on the big screen. This being said, there was a time when Batman fans had no such luxury. The debate as to who portrayed the best cinematic version of the Dark Knight is a relatively new one, with Warner Bros. having kicked off what is today a massive franchise with Tim Burton’s 1989 adaptation, Batman. Michael Keaton was selected as the eponymous crime fighter and the film was a major blockbuster, with Jack Nicholson portraying a version of the Joker that is still regarded by many as one of the best depictions ever of that character. And although future big screen incarnations of Batman brought bigger and more successful versions of Gotham’s finest crime fighter to life, Keaton’s Batman rema...

Hayley Atwell Confirmed for Both Mission: Impossible 7 & 8 14 Sep, 2019

Hayley Atwell Confirmed for Both Mission: Impossible 7 & 8 14 Sep, 2019 It looks like Hayley Atwell isn't quite ready to give up the spy business, as she's now set to join the next two entries of the Mission: Impossible franchise. Atwell is no stranger to espionage, having played fan-favorite character Agent Carter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which included her own solo TV show on ABC. While nothing can make up for the cancelation of Agent Carter after only two seasons, watching Atwell kick butt alongside Tom Cruise and the rest of the IMF team will surely soothe the sting a bit. The Mission: Impossible series of films, which is wholly the baby of Tom Cruise and his Cruise/Wagner production company, is based on the '60s/'70s classic televised spy show of the same name. The movie incarnation follows the adventures of Cruise's Agent Ethan Hunt and his Impossible Mission Force team, as they fight global threats, and generally save the world time and again...

Jurassic World Short Film Premieres Sunday Night On FX 13 Sep, 2019 Jurassic World fans rejoice! Battle at Big Rock, a brand new short film set in the franchise's dino-mite universe, will premiere this Sunday, September 15 on FX. Airing after the station's broadcast of the Jurassic World, the short will tie directly into the canon of the blockbuster movies. Comprising two films, with a third on the way, the Jurassic World movies have been a major success for Universal Pictures. The first movie told the somewhat meta story of a reboot of the classic dinosaur theme park featured in the original Jurassic Park trilogy. Having made a safe and successful venture of the cloned dinosaur business after the disaster that crippled John Hammond's vision so many years ago, Jurassic World opened with the image of families enjoying the new park and the bestial attractions within. However, a dangerous new genetically-engineered dinosaur soon broke out of its pen, wreaking havoc on th...
