Roman Reigns & More Stars Move to SmackDown in WWE’s Superstar Shakeup 17 Apr, 2019 WWE concluded its annual Superstar Shakeup event tonight, and here's a list of all the wrestlers newly headed to Tuesday nights for SmackDown. For all the time WWE has had a brand extension, part of the fun has always been when wrestlers jump between shows, whether as a surprise or as part of a scheduled event. While nothing will ever be as captivating for fans as when stars from the WWF, WCW, and ECW hopped between promotions in the 1990s, the brand extension allows WWE to at least create a sense of division between the rosters that makes it (at least in theory) special when somebody crosses over. Last night on Raw, WWE began its 2019 edition of the Superstar Shakeup, in which people from Raw, SmackDown, developmental brand NXT, and cruiserweight show 205 Live end up finding new homes within the company. Raw's biggest acquisition was no doubt multi-time WWE champion AJ Styles, although ...

Gotham: First Look at Full Joker In Series Finale Teaser Trailer & Image 03 Apr, 2019 Take a first look at the final version of Cameron Monaghan's Joker in a new teaser for the Gotham series finale. A young Monaghan first appeared as Jerome Valeska in Gotham's debut season, playing a crazed murderer with a penchant for the dramatic, but there was no immediately obvious connection to the iconic villain known as The Joker. With each appearance, Jerome took on more and more of Joker's qualities: the garish dress sense, the sadistic modus operandi and an intensely personal rivalry with Bruce Wayne. After Jerome's (permanent) death, his chaotic mission was taken up by twin brother Jeremiah and it was here that Gotham's finally cemented the character as its unique version of The Joker. However, Monghan himself has previously revealed that, due to restrictions from Warner Bros., Gotham isn't technically allowed to use the "Joker" title or employ certa...

Titans Season 2: Jason Todd Actor Promoted To Series Regular 03 Apr, 2019 Jason Todd will play a bigger role in season 2 of Titans, with actor Curran Walters promoted to series regular. Walters served as a guest star over the course of the first season, playing the second incarnation of Robin. Sent by their fellow mentor, Batman, Jason Todd arrived on the scene with a warning for Dick Grayson. Despite offering an assist to the team in taking down Nick Zucco, Jason and Dick found themselves at odds regarding the former's more brutal approach to vigilantism. Regardless, the character proved a hit with fans and one of the show's breakout stars. Season 1 followed the adventures of Dick Grayson, Kory Anders aka. Starfire, Rachel Roth aka. Raven and Gar Logan aka. Beast Boy as they joined together to form the popular comic book team. Jason was last seen in the season finale, as part of a hallucinatory fantasy created by Trigon. Now confined to a wheelchair (potentially teasing hi...

John Oliver Slams WWE Over Not Caring About Its Wrestlers’ Health 02 Apr, 2019 During an episode of HBO's Last Week Tonight, host John Oliver slams WWE for how it treats its wrestlers, and takes WWE boss Vince McMahon to task. Ever since buying its two leading competitors - WCW and ECW - in 2001, WWE has been the 800-pound gorilla at the center of the professional wrestling industry. Ever since buying the then-WWWF from his father in the early 1980s, McMahon has been - for better or worse - the owner, lead executive decision maker, and creative head of the company. McMahon has final say on anything and everything to do with WWE, so it would be accurate to say the buck stops with him. While it's unlikely that WWE will return to the heights of the "Attitude Era" anytime soon - a time headlined by such giants as "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and The Rock - McMahon's company is still earning money hand over fist, thanks to things like lucrative TV rights dea...

Each installment explores a unique habitat, with the first episode (airing today, April 1) showcasing the mountains. Sloths are one species featured prominently during Hostile Planet's run, a series that take an unprecedented approach to its intense visual storytelling thanks in part due to Oscar-winning cinematographer Guillermo Navarro serving as Executive Producer. Sloths primarily call the rainforests of South and Central America home and are known for their slow movements (a characteristic that was lampooned in Disney's 2016 film Zootopia). As viewers await the full episode, they ca...
