The annual crossover has become a staple of the DC/CW shared-universe. This year's event will ambitiously attempt to adapt Marv Wolfman's seminal 1985 storyline and is set to air across five hours. The saga will see the heroes of Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, and Batwoman unite to combat the multiverse-destroying threat of the Anti-Monitor. Mewes debuted as one-half of the titular duo in 1994's ultra-low-budget comedy, Clerks. He later reprised the role in such other cult classics as Chasing Amy, Dogma, and Mallrats. The less vocal of the two is played by Kevin Smith. Smith also served as the writer and director of each aforementioned installment. The first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 4, Black Widow is actually set after the events of Captain America: Civil War but before Avengers: Infinity War, making it a prequel rather than a continuation of the post-Endgame story.
